An Early Childhood
Learning Community

Welcome,

It is my pleasure to introduce you to our Early Childhood Education Center.
We are here serve the families of Highland, Milford, Commerce, White Lake,
Hartland, Fenton and the surrounding area. We are excited about our
programs we have programs for every child.  Full day Preschool, Morning
Preschool, Parent and child classes, Infant/ Toddler, and School age that
include both partial day and full day opportunities.

For those of you who know us, we have a strong foundation in Early
childhood education. We have taken those roots and incorporated current
research to build our programs. Our programs are inspired by the "Reggio
Emilia" approach to education. News week magazine named the schools of
Reggio Emilia, Italy as one of the top ten schools in the world.

We are dedicated to enriching and celebrating the joy of the early childhood
experience.  We have researched the latest developments in the field of Early
Childhood Education to ensure a welcoming and stimulating environment.

We believe children are lovers of learning and we create an environment to
encourage and support this desire. Our learning environment is provided by
skilled and caring teachers. They create opportunities for children to interact,
as well as use their creative thinking, exploration and problem-solving skills.
As you visit our center, you will note that this learning environment takes
place both indoors and outdoors. Building Blocks School is a warm and
nurturing atmosphere, a 'security zone' where our children can explore and
hone their life-long skills and love for learning.

We consider it a privilege and honor to join with families supporting the
cognitive, social-emotional, physical development of their children.  For any
questions, or to schedule a tour of our facility, please don't hesitate to contact
me at 248.889.2727 or send an email to Emily@BuildingBlocksSchool.com.

In service to children,
